WAITING SOULS


Past 
Living dead inside the future
There were no bodies
No problems
No feeling, no hurt, no pain

Shame on he who gave us life
Shame on they who took the freedom
When we lived in ancient history
The mind belonged to emptiness
Now the time has come to stay alive
Powers higher make it hard to survive

The soul was content
With what it had
There was no nee
Our souls roamed free unconsciously
And never wanted
Did not know greed

Now the time has come to say goodbye
The time arises,
We must die
In time, not now but sometime
Its easier no to know anything
But harder to forget
What you never even knew

When nothing existed
Just dark and light and space
The world did not progress
There was no want, no need
I took comfort in the loneliness
The lack of sound
The peace of soul
Evolution is a time bomb
And it's past it's use by date

No longer waiting to explode
No more do we have to wait for the end
It happened quite some time ago
We all remember, we all were thee
Forgetfulness is cleaner than remembrance

It happened once, why not again
We all knew the last time
This time I am unsure
The world could collapse at any time
I know the fire, smell the burning
World ablaze, but can we see it flickering
Until the light gives out and we start again

I much and more liked the old world
The one without a care
The one where we did not exist
Except in our subconscious
When nothing was real, it was easier to pretend
That all was well, because there was nothing there
We floated over our non existence
Never came back down to size
Until that one day when all was gone

It took more than the end
To finish me off
And it will more than the blaze of time
To send me in flames
I'll be glad when this world returns to dust
The way it used to be
When we all lived without

A return to the old is welcomed
The gasoline torch has been knocked over
Burning more than just the carpet
Wait until the wick runs out
The candle stops burning
There's nothing left to ignite
It's all gone, water, land just sky
And we go back to the life
We finally regain our souls
