TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY


I'm seeing lies wherever I go
The world is full of things untrue
Two sides to every story
And nothing can be taken as real

Fights of rage and stupidity
Hidden behind disguises
Religion answers everything
So come and find the Lord within you

Claims that God wants things this way
The God you follow never
Wanted things to be like this
But they won't see the irony
This story has two sides

Doing things because they think
That things are destined
to happen
You don't need to make it work
True destiny will take care of itself
Two sides to your train of thought

School is nothing but a scam
Education isn't worth the struggles
They teach us all about the system
But force us to live in a world of lies
Contrast of beliefs
Two sides to it all

Nobody is ever what they seem
Everybody lives a lie
Pleasing others, making sure they think
The best of what you do, but rarely happy ourselves

Friends will want attention
Want to be recognised by you, pretend they care
How long before they fall
No more support

Two sides to all of them
They always look through just one eye
Blind to everything except feeling good
Comparing themselves to others
Just to raise their ego higher

Two sides to every story
Also two sides of me
I can't take me seriously
I can't believe a word I say
I live a lie along with the rest
But something inside of me stays forever true

I lose myself at times
But find myself again
At times I'm lost, confused, don't know
But also know exactly where I am and how I feel
Even love makes me see two sides

I've heard two opinions on love
And both of them seem true
'Love is suicide'
I know this is right, but I don't care
Because I also know that 'Love solves everything'

People can ask me how I'm feeling
I don't know
People ask me how I felt when it happened
I can't say if I don't know
Never feeling just one way
There's always a mirror in your emotions
Always feeling opposites at once

How can I be feeling so confused
Yet knowing exactly why
The world is full of double sides
Two sides to every story
