The Masked Man

He hides behind the painted face
Prepared for his show.
They see him 'clowning' around,
But do they really know.....

His crazy actions make evryone laugh
-I saw the clown that cried-
But do they care about who he is
Without the paint,
Is he a clown inside?

Do they prefer to know
The happy character on stage?
Would they give the time of day
To the one with a frown or with wrinkles of age?
