SHATTERED DREAMS

All is dead in hate
And fair in love for all
When life seems too cruel
Think of what's in your heart

Is there something you long for
Yet something you can't have
It may just be it hasn't happened
Does not mean it won't

In time the worry gets to you
In time you get annoyed
With all the things that go so wrong
Frustration carries you away

Depression comes to visit you
Takes away your sleep
The one thing that upsets you badly
Should not remain as all the focus
Inside your tortured mind

Look upon the ones who help
The times you spent with smiles
And think about your dreams instead
Of dreams that have been shattered

There are things in life that don't exist
No such thing as broken dreams
A dream or hope will stay possible
Until you give your life away
The chance lives on in your heart
And the hope is always there
