Over Time

Times-changing
Memories-forgotten
Beginning different lives
putting an end to
what we had before.
Why do we bother
To build things up
Only to have them broken
down again.
And knowing there’s nothing
We can do or say,
Because that’s just 
The way it goes.
Why ?
No-one knows.
