The bitterness of one left out
Causes trying currents
Engulfs the world with sadness
Cascades upon the earth

He shouldn't be like this
He should not be treated this way

Tries to step outside his own skin
He cannot move
Tries to breathe a new kind of air
He cannot feel his lungs
Trying to break free
But he is trapped
And cannot move
Cannot feel
Cannot break what he has made

Tangled in the weeds of loneliness
Drowning in a sea of hate
He gets pulled under everyday
Further from the safe land
That he has to keep him alive

There's days he thinks he'll get through
There's days he thinks nothing
There's days heels spend all by himself
And days he'll try to fit in
But just gets used

He's slipping deeper
Under
Time moves on as he prays
For the end
The end won't come to tortured souls
Time makes it worse
Each day is far too long

How far will people push it
They care not, but for themselves
