MARY'S CHURCH Mary's Church stands alone Look at what you've done Is she inside? Is she alive? Standing historic, yet standing so new 1877, she is older than you Will she arise? Did she survive? From the screen I can see it Evil as God Serene and puposely alone Almost without a religion Where has she gone? We all remember her Without the image we struggle Without struggle we fail to believe. Stolen from somewhere below or above We've lost the girl everybody loved Commemorated, still believeing the word A call from the heavens lay rest to the cloud If Mary's Church has grown so free How old is her companion? Do we gain hope from her tree? After faith faltered there was nothing to see Mary inside her house alone On her knees begging for belief Disbelivers are hoping for reprieve Will they attain the value they need? She belongs to the town Posession of faith Storm rage for occasion Coming over so clear Mary will survive disbelief Re-assurance of sanity took her away She will return when all faith is regained Be afraid of what isn't alone Your time will present you with Fond recognition that you're not the one The girl you've forgotten falls into Your handds and weeps for us one last time 9/12/98
