I WILL NOT BE RETURNING Take a look at the wounded and the dead Fear and shame infect my head I cry every night for those who died I see the possibility that I might I will not be coming home I wish I could make up for leaving you alone I'm sorry you all have to be mouning I know that I will not be returning I don't want to end up unknown But all of us here are the same to the bone Not a day will go by for a single man When he won't dream of his home, his homeland Mother, I won't be coming back I was nearly missed, I felt the attack Don't cry for me, I had a thought in my heart That I would meet you again, maybe not be aprt For long I hope for me you will not be returning I'm sorry that I won't be returning 9/12/98
