A community of thieves
How did we take this away?
Nothing we do and nothing we say
Can ever seem right in the eyes
Cold, unforgiving eyes with a right
To not forget the pain
Not accept the blame
For our selfish sins

Who are the people who did this?
Who took it away?
We aren't the ones, but I feel to repay
The sacrificial wandering
Minimal gain
What happened to the smiles
For the children to save?

I admit to a sin that was born into me
I know I have been born into sin
For the taking of children, and with that a life
For oppression and anger, unnacceptable lies
