Cold Dark Knight
As the night swarms around you
Your arms are open wide
You stand-
-Ready to embrace the darkness
Which will take you away.

You hear the spirits calling,
But you can’t see past you shame.
You begged silently for forgiveness
This sorry state does not deserve words.

The clouds of your destiny break open
And your punishment pours out.
Thunder voices his anger as
Lightning crashes all around,
Barely missing your embrace.

You’ve outstayed your welcome,
Burnt yourself into the night.
You watch the fires of your sinful mission dance,
In performance for the horror,
The hell you are soon sure to face.
You can only blame yourself.

At last the night of darkness comes
And the fear rises in you, though you had been expecting......
You fall to the ground
Shortly before the knife is wedged
Between your hatred and your guilt
And you are left to bleed.
