BURNING TEARS


I remember a long a time ago
When this world was left untouched
Souls wandered lightly, caring
There was no evil
No good to justify it
Just life itself and souls content

Add the luxuries of skin and flesh
There's more to kill
More to think about, we need a mind
The time of living by our souls is gone
I remember the time well
Yet I was never there
And it never existed truthfully

Everything is organised now
Nothing stays unharmed, it's been taken over
Possession builds the need to steal
Everybody wishes on a falling star
Until that star of hope falls down upon them
Nobody's left any four leaf clovers
So there's no luck left in this world

Theories of this world's demise
Given by modern day prophets
Liars

Planet may collapse inwards
One continental tidal wave can drown the earth
The world may start how it began
Finish this place off
With one planetary explosion
But I don't believe in prophets

The world is heading on a crash course
With humanity in direct line
No matter how this planet changes
We are on a suicide mission
Intent on bring the world down with us

In time the green will all be gone
Water in the lakes and oceans
Will dry up
Leaving earth cracked and dirty
Cities crumble, streets are empty
Wind carries nothing in it's travels
Except for loneliness
Population slowly decreases
Until the time when earth will burn to ashes
Washed away by the tears of
A million tortured souls
